Description
A late and loving restoration by the composer brings to publication one of Rochberg’s finest orchestral scores. The Concerto was first performed in the 1970’s by Isaac Stern, and several alterations w ere made to accommodate those performances and the subsequent recording. At the urging of Christopher Lyndon-Gee, Rochberg revisited his Concerto to restore it to his primary vision.
