New to the Carl Fischer Choral Catalog, Rick Bjella has masterfully partnered the tune Hava Nashira, shire hallelujah (let us sing, sing alleluia), originally thought to be a Hebrew sacred song, now attributed to Johannes Ockeghem with the famous Thomas Tallis Canon. The vocal parts are easily accessible to most choirs, while the piano and trumpet do most of the “heavy musical lifting.” Rhythmic and melodic fun abound!
