Description
Pop is a delightful, purely melodic work. It was written to be played at Gary Schocker’s annual summer masterclass. And with that in mind, was created to be played for pleasure, without too many technical bumps along the way for the performers who vary in playing ability. Pop is titled this way because it sounds a little bit like the pop music Schocker used to hear in the 70’s-with more modal shadings, but still a very accessible piece. Scored for 6 C flutes, alto & bass.
