This fanfare can be performed with a variable number of players, from three – one trumpet, one horn, and one trombone – to the sixteen brass players involved with the April 21, 1996 opening of the new Detroit Opera House. The usual number of brass will be thenormal complement in the opera-house orchestra: three trumpets, four horns, and three trombones. Can be used for calling patrons back to their seats after intermission. Multiple brass sections can also function as their own separate fanfares also.
