Description
The collection of Obrazki muzyczne dla najmlodszych [Musical pictures for the youngest], op. 21, prepared for classical guitar, is addressed to children setting out on their adventure with this instrument. The gradual introduction to the world of the guitar is favoured by the format of the collection, in which the works are arranged according to difficulty, from easy one-part melodies to harmonically and technically more complicated and demanding pieces. The young guitarists will find here many techniques, such as arpeggio, legato, natural and artificial harmonics, and barre chords. Playing in high positions and frequent position changes enrich the interesting sound of the material contained in the Pictures, while at the same time helping to develop technical proficiency.
