This is the first edition of our new series “Step by Step – guitar music in musical instruction” . Each edition deals with one work and presents information and advice on how it should be played. Gerd-Michael Dausend arranged the duets KV 487- whose instrumentation has always been controversial (priority is mostly given to two horns) for two guitars. Original phrasing was maintained, some passages were transposed an octave, and technical ties are shown (by dots).The pedagogic text mainly features sound colours, agogics and character and form of movements.
