Description
Based on Benjamin Britten’s opera A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Op. 64, this 15-minute choral suite has been arranged and adapted, yet remains true to Britten’s original score. The added introductory lines, using words of Shakespeare, help to frame each chorus. This work presents an excellent opportunity for young singers to experience the operatic works of a great twentieth century composer. Duration: ca. 15:00.
