Description
Paige Dashner Long arranged the finale from Dvořák’s New World Symphony for the 2014 Metropolitan Flute Orchestra tour to Hungary, Poland, and the Czech Republic. Built-in flexibility allows the arrangement to be performed by a large flute choir or more limited ensembles. Using the divisi in the arrangement, larger flute ensembles can recreate the full sound of the original orchestration. Read more about the arrangement and interesting background on New World Symphony at ContraFlute.com (with MP3 recording).
