This “Andante Cantabile” (from SINFONIA CONCERTANTE in E-flat for Two Violins and Orchestra) by J.S. Bach’s youngest son, Johann Christian, has been arranged by Henri Marteau. A work in a slow tempo with several slurred 16th-note passages, it is a must-have for any intermediate player’s recital or contest collection. Versions for flute, oboe, clarinet, and saxophone with piano accompaniment are available from the publisher. A version for mallet instrument and piano, arranged by Scott R.
