This final volume in Liszt’s Ann�es de p�lerinage in the Urtext edition by renowned Liszt scholar, Leslie Howard, contains the Troisi�me Ann�e – Italie S163, together with Trois Odes fun�bres S516, S516a & S517. Although the Odes fun�bres are not originally part of the Ann�es they have been included in this volume because they form a musical and spiritual bridge between Ann�es II and III. Together, these works demonstrate a character not met elsewhere in the great music literature of the nineteenth century. Includes preface, critical notes, original illustrations and historical texts.
