Jonathan Talberg performed this piece at the ACDA National conference in 2023 with his University of Long Beach Chamber Singers, and proudly placed it in his series. The author and composer, Sinn Sisamouth, is the Cambodian equal to Nat King Cole or Frank Sinatra. Sisamouth also became a martyr for his country. The musical setting of this beloved piece offers a more abstract and cinematic aesthetic. It is a stunning piece of choral art.
