A more ambitious project is Leisner’s Confiding, a 30-minute vocal cycle with piano or guitar. The composer says, “[Ten] poems by women, mostly Emily Dickinson and Emily Bronte, that trace the rise and fall of an intimate relationship and then turn to non-human elements (the guitar, imagination, God) for confiding. Guitar part of medium difficulty.” Dur.: 10′ Confiding is now available in three versions: High Voice and Piano (141-40077), Medium Voice and Piano (141-40078), and High Voice and Guitar (141-40079).
