“Three Cabaret Songs” were arranged for the United States Coast Guard Band by MUC Ian Frenkel, and presented at the 2009 Midwest Clinic, this deft arrangement may be heard on Mark CD 8543. “George” was orchestrated for wind ensemble by the composer in that same year. In 2014, two more Frenkel arrangements were added to the set at the request of Kansas University for Mezzo-soprano Joyce Castle, and premiered at KU by Ms. Castle under the baton of Paul Popiel on October 6, 2014. Songs included in “Five Cabaret Songs,”arranged by Ian Frenkel: 1. Over the Piano, 2. Radical Sally, 3. Song of Black Max, 4. Waitin, 5. Amor. “George” is available separately from the publisher.
