Greenwood Lake is a pastoral piece of music for intermediate bands. Flowing dynamics paired with fluid melodies and countermelodies mimic the ripples and waves on the surface of a lake. Composer Richard Summer pulls from his many years of experience as an educator to provide bands with interesting music that students will enjoy playing while also learning many important musical concepts along the way.
