Flute 1, Flute 2, Flute 3Leonardo de Lorenzo

Description

The first edition of the Trio op. 31 was published by Zimmermann in 1930. Though unchanged in its musical contents, this edition is new and meets modern requirements in terms of presentation: a score takes better account of the rubato style of the work and the individual parts. Lorenzo’s vast oeuvre, dedicated to the art of flute playing in its broadest sense, and not least his remarkable, eventful life have so far found little attention. The following lines are meant to fill this gap.

Author: Leonardo de Lorenzo

Instrument: Flute 1, Flute 2, Flute 3
