In the 19th-century tradition of studies for the piano, In Style Romantiquecontains pieces written to address the technical challenges presented to the aspiring pianist. Each piece is thoughtfully crafted to enhance piano technique through sensitive and idiomatic awareness of composing for piano. Multiple technical challenges are woven into each of the studies. All pieces are in the Romantic style with a contemporary sensibility. Eight of the ten studies were originally released in the “Piano Etudes for Developing Musicality” series.
