Description
Tantrum, originally an English term for “whims”, also exists in French. Waterhouse uses a single motif of the original consisting of only two sounds – this is the basis of his piece. Throughout the composition the whims change, and thus the moods alter – playing with the contrast between jolly elements and more gloomy ones.
