Description
Reissner uses text by Christina Rosetti, augmented by Philips Brooks and her own wording, to fashion a beautiful, flowing Christmas anthem. Alternating unison and four-part passages add an effective aura, with a C instrument accompaniment floating above (instrumental part included). Handbells can be added for a full, rich sound (7 bells, 3 octaves).
