Description
The chart is a medium driving funk groove in 7/4 for the most part. It has a bass line that locks the groove in place much like the songs “Take Five” and “Chamelion.” The actual drum groove is made up of a one beat pattern that simply repeats. This makes it easy to get a 7/4 groove going with younger players. The solo section is Concert G Whole Tone scale (G, A, B, C#, D#, F).
