Description
Adolphe Adam�s (1803-1856) ever popular Oh Holy Night was penned in 1847 and has remained a classic holiday carol ever since. The text comes from French poet Placide Cappeau�s Christmas poem, to commemorate the 1843 renovation of Roquemaure church�s pipe organ. It premiered in Roquemaure in 1847, sung by opera singer Emily Laurey. This arrangement by Adam Harris includes full orchestra and mixed chorus.
