Description
Siegfried Fink’s composition was inspired by Adolf Luther’s spherical hollow mirror objects in the „Mönchshaus Museum of Modern Art” in Goslar. In his preface, he writes: “The concave and convex surfaces of the mirrors present constantly changing images as the observers position changes, giving rise to a “visual dialogue”. The melodic, rhythmic and sound patterns are intended to convey the interplay of mirror images. Tablature for percussion: bass drum, 2 congas, snare drum, 2 bongos, 4 temple blocks, cymbal, cowbell.
