Double Bass, VioloncelloEmmanuel Guerin

Description

All we know about Emmanuel Guérin is his date of birth: March 3, 1779, and that he was a cello player at the Théâtre Feydeau in Paris for a quarter of a century. That is where he wrote most of his compositions, all of which use the cello, his instrument, for chamber music works. As there are hardly any compositions for the rare instrumentation cello/double bass, this work is a welcome enrichment. On account of its simple structure, no score was created.
