Description

We do not know how Leonhard von Call (1767 – 1815), who was a civil servant in the ministry of finance, came to write music. But we do know, that many loved his compositions and his guitar play, most probably because his compositions were not too difficult and of pleasing nature, just like the times he lived in. He was a respected citizen and did obviously play a great part in the cultural life of his city Vienna. The Serenade in this edition is very well and variedly composed and suits the interaction in music schools.
