The work combines authentic folk melodies and otherwise to offer the infectious melodies and rhythms inherent to the popular tunes with very original piano accompaniments. Songs included: 1. El pao moruno, 2. Seguidilla murciana, 3. Asturiana, 4. Jota, 5. Nana, 6. Cancin, and 7. Polo. The immediate acclaim following the 2015 premiere in Madrid helped Falla gain international recognition.
