This contest style rhapsody is based on two Hebrew folk songs: Shabbat, Shalom and Shalom Chaverim. Gene Milford has crafted a wonderful work with colorful orchestration and shifting textures. It is a more serious piece that can be used at any time of the year. We expect this piece to make its way onto many festival lists; it is that good!
