Verdi’s Quattro Pezzi Sacri (Four Sacred Pieces) were written separately but published together in 1898 towards the end of the composer’s life. Often performed as a cycle they are also possible performed as separate works. The ‘Te Deum’ is scored for two four-part choirs, soprano solo and large orchestra.
