Description
Riccardo Pick-Mangiagalli (1882-1949) was born in South Bohemia, though the fact that his family moved to Milan when he was only two years old causes him to be considered an Italian composer. Starting his career as a concert pianist, he abandoned that track in 1914 in favor of becoming a music teacher and composer. Pick-Mangiagalli wrote his 3 Miniatures, Op. 4 for piano and strings in 1909. This reduction for piano four-hands was completed by the composer in the same year. Movements: I. A l’Automne, II. Danse Migonne, III. Fardadet.
