Description
Paganini’s skills on the guitar were less known while he was alive. From a collection of 37 Sonatas the editor selected three. In these pieces which consist of two movements, short form and clarity are combined with a comparatively low technical standard. They are well-suited to revive the spirit of Viennese classic during musical instruction. In terms of technical skills versus effect, the sonatas No. 26, 9 and 15 mentioned here show an extremely well-balanced relation. These pieces are also perfect for small recitals.
