Description
This tender ballad is full of love. The text originates from the collection “I Never Saw Another Butterfly,” which was written by a child in the Terezin concentration camp. In the poem the child affirms the belief in the goodness and beauty of life. “He doesn’t know the world at all, Who stays in his nest and doesn’t go out. He doesn’t know what (the) birds know best, Nor what I want to sing about, That the world is full of loveliness.”
