Description
Zimmermann, Leipzig issued an edition of this triosonata as early as 1927 – even though it had been transposed to G major in order to achieve a more brilliant sound. Martin Nitz based his new edition on a manuscript which is kept at the Biblioth?que Royal de Musique in Brussels. Finally, this sonata can once again be looked at in its original state. Although the manuscript explicitly mentions the fl?te traversi?re, the composition can also be performed with an alto recorder.
