Description
This composition originated in the idea of having advanced students and comparative beginners perform in the same piece at a concert without demanding too much or too little of either side. It was the tension between technical problems of how to play together on one hand and exuberant rhythmics on the other hand that turned “Trommelfeuer (Drum Fire)” into a strong and vehement experience in which players of all ages and levels of development were united.
