Description

The French harp virtuoso Gabriel Verdalle (1845-ca. 1915) was employed at the Grand Opera in Paris. Most of his compositions were published by Carl Giessel junior in Bayreuth (later Zimmermann) between 1898 and 1901. The short waltz was composed in 1903 and is graceful and brilliant. According to the direcition for playing it should be played “dolcissimo”, i.e. “very sweet”.
