Description

A three movement Haydn chamber work for your trio!  Also known as "Barytontrio No. 70" in some editions, this work originally written for baryton, viola and violoncello is one of about 175 compositions written for the baryton (a stringed instrument similar to the viola da gamba) by Haydn between 1762 and 1775.  Given that the blend of the three similar instruments makes it difficult to distinguish the sound of the individual instruments, arrangements for euphonium, trombone, bassoon, and cello trios, all available from the publisher, presents no major alteration to the original version.
