Description
This composition plays with the endless possibilities of how sounds can be produced on a flute. Single fragments of the original tune seem to be floating to us as if they came from another world – just like in a dream. At the beginning, Offermans uses the harmonic basics of Drigo’s original. In the middle part, however, the sounds are getting clearer and more thematic; the gestures get stronger. Afterwards, everything seems to be vanishing in a floating void again.
