Description

The title originally refers to a Greek dessert which – according to the author – is sweet, nutritious, and rich. He tries to achieve this impression within the slow parts of the three-part composition by creating thick carpets of sound. Contrasting to these sections are the quick, lively ones which in their turn convey a touch of folk music due to their odd metres and syncopated rhythmic structures.
