Description
This is a medley of the American patriotic songs, America, and My Country Tis of Thee. It is a good composition to teach the dotted quarter/eighth note rhythm. It is easy to play. The clarinets do not cross the break. The first trumpet was a written E once. Other than that one note that reaches into the grade 2 range, the 1st trumpet’s highest note is D.
