Description
Amanda Harberg’s well-loved PRAYER was originally composed in 2011 as a meditation on healing. The moving nature of the work’s beautiful melody and harmony have led the composer to create a wide variety of instrumentations. In response to the global pandemic of 2020, and the cancellations of live performances, Harberg conceived “The Prayer Project” as a large-scale flute choir (plus harp and percussion) performing PRAYER as a distanced video with 100 musicians.
