This arrangement of Sweet Little Jesus Boy, by Janet Pummill, was first performed on December 18 and 19, 2003 when it was premiered at Carnegie Hall, New York. It was broadcast on WQXR radio in New York City on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, 2003, and was performed by the Fort Worth – Texas Christian University Symphonic Choir and the NewYork Pops Orchestra, under the direction of Ronald Shirey. This beautiful and sensitive arrangement could be quite possibly the best and most popular ever done with this classic Christmas Spiritual.
