Description
Most choir members have probably known Clough-Leighter’s name, from the hundreds of works he edited at Oliver Ditson Company (Boston) and then at E.C. Schirmer (as editor-in-chief for 35 years). But he also managed to compose hundreds of original songs, and works for choir, chamber ensembles, and orchestra. Thorpe notes that Thy Light is Come is among the last of his compositions.
