Mozart wrote the Viennese Sonatinas in Vienna in 1783. Some of the sonatinas first appeared as ensembles for two Clarinets and Bassoon but were later transcribed for Piano. The original manuscripts are in possession of the Gesellshafts Freunde in Vienna. The excerpts in this transcription by Walter Beeler, Andante and Allegro are the 3rd and 4th movements of the Sixth Sonatina.
