Description
This is actually a solo piece for flute. The flute embodies the individual with its many processes of change. The percussion part, here metal instruments only, is intended as a kind of complex resonance room for the flute part. The multitude of metallic sounds seem to be incited by the sound of the flute until it vanishes entirely. As the percussion instruments die away the flute emerges again in transmuted form.
