Everyone knows this song, but have you every heard it start out like a jazz ballad, with beautiful major 7th’s, 13th chords with a flatted 5? It is all written so easily and so beautifully. Then the song kicks into a rock/jazz style version of the song. It is a winner. Everyone loves this arrangement. The 1st trumpet’s highest note is D. Clarinets do not cross the break.
